A native Calgarian, Mary Boyes has been active on the vocal jazz scene since 1998. Since those early beginnings, Mary has established herself as a leading vocalist in and around the Calgary area. Her straightforward vocal delivery reflects her sheer delight in performing and the sense of spirit in each song selection.
Mary is an artist who finds musical inspiration in the simple things that channel her interpretation of jazz and Latin standards. She has performed to enthusiastic crowds at the Calgary Jazz Festival and venues throughout Alberta. Her performances lend an energetic and truly personal charm to her shows, engaging audiences wherever she performs.
