The Allison Au Quartet is a Toronto-based New Jazz ensemble. Saxophonist/composer Allison Au has been awarded the Duke Ellington Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement and has attended the Nice Jazz Festival in France on scholarship. Her work has also been featured with the internationally acclaimed Metropole Orchestra in Holland.

 

As a five-time grant recipient, The Allison Au Quartet has performed extensively at various venues in Toronto including the Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar, The Central and The Tranzac, focussing on Au's original music as well as hand-picked Jazz favourites.

The group features the versatile musicianship of Todd Pentney (piano), Dan Fortin (bass), and Fabio Ragnelli (drums).
